Elder Law Attorneys to Present Free Webinar on What to Expect from Trump and the New Congress

Trump Elections have consequences, as Barack Obama observed after his 2008 victory.  Following the election of President Trump and a Republican Congress, there is great uncertainty about what the consequences will be for older Americans.  Will the rules for Medicaid’s coverage of nursing home care change?  How will the Republican proposal to repeal and replace Obamacare affect older Americans?  Is the estate tax dead?

To consider these and other proposed and probable changes in law that will affect older Americans and those with special needs, five nationally known elder law attorneys have formed the Trump Policy Analysis Group (TPAG).  On Wednesday, March 15, four founding TPAG members will present a free two-hour webinar on the legislative and legal landscape from their experienced vantage point and identify planning and other steps to preserve or, ideally, to increase older Americans’ quality of health care and quality of life.

The four webinar leaders will be California attorney Michael Gilfix, North Carolina attorney A. Frank Johns, Boston attorney and ElderLawAnswers president Harry Margolis, and New York attorney Vincent J. Russo.  Between them, the four bring to the discussion more than 120 years of experience in elder law.

The March 15 webinar begins at 3 pm Eastern Time and runs until 5 pm, and there will be an opportunity to ask questions.  To register for the webinar, click here
